The result shows that the system is capable of communicating in simple Hausa words and will be able to learn simple words in Hausa. Developing this Chatbot system would bring the Hausa language into the Artificial intelligence stage and it would serve as a reference material for future research and development. The interface was designed using HTML and CSS with JavaScript for interactivity. It was designed as a web-based application that can feature in any platform with internet access and a web browser, where PHP was used as programming Language in conjunction with MySQL database. The proposed Chatbot is capable of communicating with users in Hausa Language, tell some funny stories and above all has the ability of learning from users. To the best of our knowledge, there is very limited or no Chatbot that target Hausa Language, hence the catalyst of this research. Numerous chatbots have been created and continue to be created. In this research, we proposed a noble approach to the design of Chatbot that interacts with people in Hausa Language, which is the second most famous languages in Africa. Finally, some thoughts and directions for future research are provided, and domains that may benefit from conversational agents are introduced.Ĭhatbot is an AI based application that stimulates human conversations. In addition, the primary tools and datasets that may be useful for the development and evaluation of CAs of different categories are described. The uniqueness of our review is that an overview of the concepts and building blocks of CAs is provided, and CAs are categorized according to their abilities and main application domains. In addition, several areas for future research are identified to address moral and security issues, given the current state of CA-related technological developments. The technologies used for the evaluation of CAs and publicly available datasets are outlined. Capable of conducting ongoing communication with humans, CAs are encountered in natural-language processing, deep learning, and technologies that integrate emotional aspects. In this study, the main areas in which CAs are successful are described along with the main technologies that enable the creation of CAs. It seems that the technology has finally ripened to advance the use of CAs in various domains, including commercial, healthcare, educational, political, industrial, and personal domains. In recent years, conversational agents (CAs) have become ubiquitous and are a presence in our daily routines.
